Purple Anglican Soutane


The cassock or soutane is an item of Christian clerical clothing used by the clergy of Catholic, Eastern Orthodox, Anglican, Lutheran, and Reformed churches, among others. "Ankle-length garment" is the literal meaning of the corresponding Latin term, vestis talaris.


The Cassock is a close-fitting ankle length ecclesiastical garment worn by clergy or others participating in church services. It is artistically fashioned in a manner that is more particularly in keeping the customs of religion.

CASSOCK 
·       The Cassock is made in Double breasted style.
·       The Cassock is made of fine polyester blend cotton fabric for better durability and comfort.
·       It is carefully sewn with German sewing machines and finished by hands by our skilled tailors to give the best workmanship.
·       The Cassock is lined with skin-friendly satin fabric.
·       The Cassock has two a pocket on each side.
·       The Cassock has Shoulder pads.

CLOSURE
·       The closure of the cassock is done with exposed fabric covered buttons.
·       The cassock contains buttons on each shoulder, at the waist and in Academic hood button.

COLLAR

Rabats or clerical collar are not provided with the Cassock. But the collar of the Cassock is made with rabat collar to suit Rabats and Tab collar with inserts for a clerical collar.

CINCTURE
·       The band cincture is a waistband which wraps around the waist with a hanging.
·       The hang of the cincture is adjusted as per your Cassock length (if a particular length is required please let us know so that we can make it accordingly)
·       Matching Band cincture is included.
·       The band cincture has Velcro closure.
·       The ends of the cincture have knotted fringes, which is 4inches long.
·       The width of the cincture is 5 inches.
